Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a speech via video at the opening ceremony of the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum on Friday in Shanghai.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, underlined that China will enhance synergy between two resources of both domestic and international markets, constantly provide new opportunities for the world with China's new development, and promote the construction of an open world economy.
