Unlike most foreigners in China taking up roles such as employees, language teachers, or international students, Erwin Gerber runs a bakery in a small Chinese city.

Living and working across the world for decades, the 58-year-old started to lose interest in globe trotting. He then came across Taicang, a city near east China's Shanghai, in 2012. There, Gerber finally found out the meaning of "a good life." CGTN's Wang Tianyu has the story.
