China has always honored its commitments to the fundamental policy of opening-up with concrete actions via platforms such as the 5th China International Import Expo, affording more countries opportunities to deepen exchanges and enhance cooperation, a Brazilian scholar said. The report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China held in mid-October makes it clear that China will continue to promote high-level opening-up. Karin Costa Vazquez, a Brazilian scholar from the Center for BRICS Studies at Fudan University said the policy has greatly benefited foreign companies over the past few years.
