The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) says the recent military exercises by South Korea and the U.S. were an "open provocation." Pyongyang says it had responded with measures simulating striking their air bases and warplanes. Last week, the DPRK test-fired multiple missiles and hundreds of artillery shells into the sea, as South Korea and the U.S. carried out a six-day air drill through November 5.
