Better catch the moon's disappearing act today as there won't be another like it for three years. As the moon slips into Earth's shadow, it will first dim and darken before turning a reddish hue and will be visible for almost an hour and a half. The celestial show can be visible to viewers in North and Central America, Asia, Australia, the Pacific Islands and parts of South America.
It's the second total lunar eclipse this year, the first was in May and the next one won't be until 2025. Plenty of partial lunar eclipses will be available in the meantime. Join CGTN for a closer look.
