The United States has always been regarded as a partner and ally by Europe. However, when Europe is suffering from energy shortages, inflation and high unemployment, the U.S. has taken a bystander position, instead seizing a once-in-a-century opportunity to make a fortune. Meantime, the huge U.S. subsidies for the new energy vehicle sector are drawing companies away from Europe in droves.
