European economies are courting Nigeria for more gas supplies as they try to reduce their heavy dependence on Russian gas. Nigeria has played host to at least two EU delegations this year seeking to get the West African nation to increase gas supplies to the block as winter approaches. But Nigeria too has a huge domestic gas demand requirement it is struggling to meet.
