Data from China's National Bureau of Statistics showed that China's consumer price index (CPI) kept rising to 2.1 percent year on year in October, but in relatively slow speed compared to most major economies in the world. Meanwhile, China's producer price index (PPI), which measures inflation in the wholesale market, dropped 1.3 percent year on year for the first time in almost two years.
