Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the upcoming meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation during a phone conversation on Tuesday, the Belarusian news agency BelTA reported on Wednesday.

"Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin discussed issues of the upcoming CSTO meeting. Another topic of conversation was the Belarusian-Russian relations with an emphasis on trade and economic cooperation," the report said.

The press service said Lukashenko and Putin also discussed the "schedule of meetings" up to the end of this year.
