Earthquakes measuring 6.6, 6.8 and 7 struck south of the Fiji islands in the Pacific on Wednesday evening, each at a depth of more than 600 kilometers, according to the United States Geological Survey.
There was no immediate tsunami threat to the region, the Seismology Section of Fiji's Mineral Resources Department said in a statement on social media.
