NATO leaders will gather for their next summit in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius on July 11 and 12 in 2023, the alliance announced on Wednesday.

The summit will be an opportunity for leaders "to agree on further steps to strengthen our deterrence and defense, to review significant increases in defense spending, and to continue our support for Ukraine," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in a statement.
