The World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit on Wednesday awarded 15 achievements in the internet field in 2022, together with two blue papers describing the status quo of the internet in China and the world.

This year's achievements are more related to network infrastructure than previous years, with China Unicom's IPv6+ at the top of the list. Achievements about big data saw an increase in numbers, with Alibaba's Open Data Processing Service featured the most.

Foreign technologies like Qualcomm's AI-enhanced 5G modem chip and Microsoft's digital double products were also awarded.

The achievements were chosen from 257 applicants from around the world by an expert committee with world-renowned names.

The summit also updated its yearly reports on the internet in China and the world.

The blue books said China's network infrastructure is leading the world, while the digital economy is developing at an unprecedented speed.

The World Internet Development Report 2022 evaluated the networks in 48 countries and regions in the world and listed the top 10, which included the U.S., China, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, South Korea, the UK, Canada, Finland and Denmark.
