Single working mom Faith is a frequent traveler on the first train departing from Kenya's capital Nairobi to coastal Mombasa, where her daughter lives. Until 2017, Faith's 500-kilometer trip was tedious and dangerous, but then something happened: the arrival of the China-built standard gauge railway! Now Faith is just one of 7.8 million passengers whose lives have been changed for the better by this railway.
