As Airshow China draws crowds to south Chinese city of Zhuhai, Airbus has announced plans for assembling the A321 passenger twin engine jet in its Final Assembly Line Asia in China. Dr Christoph Schrempp, general manager of Airbus Tianjin Delivery Center, told CGTN that he personally witnessed the fast development of commercial aviation in China. According to Airbus, China needs over 8,400 passenger and freighter aircraft in the next 20 years — accounting for over 20 percent of the global demand for new aircraft in the next two decades.
