The 29th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Thailand under the theme: "Open, Connect, Balance". Renmin University of China and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University are jointly hosting the APEC Energy Forum 2022, which will bring together people of insight from APEC economies who are involved in Politics-Industry-University-Research- Business circles, to deeply discuss trends in "energy transformation, scientific and technological innovation, climate finance and biodiversity," explore meaningful cooperative choices in education for low-carbon development, promote the inclusiveness and integration of young people from all economies in this field, and promote multilateralism within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
