BRI Projects & Programs: Fresh Indonesian pineapples gain Chinese market access

On August 15, 2022, fresh Indonesian pineapples became one of the latest in a spurt of tropical fruits that gained official access to the Chinese market. Indonesia, which has two pineapple harvests per year, is one of the world's leading pineapple producers. In 2019, fresh Indonesian pineapples debuted at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
