Missile strikes were carried out on Ukraine's capital Kyiv, as well as Lviv, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr oblast, on Tuesday evening, Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reported.
Emergency blackouts were imposed in Kyiv. In Zhytomyr city, two missile strikes were carried out on energy infrastructures, throwing the city without electricity, UNIAN reported citing the mayor.
Earlier on Tuesday, air raid alerts had been sounded in most regions of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.
