Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that around 11 million tonnes of grain entered the global markets thanks to the Black Sea grain initiative.
Speaking at a news conference during a summit of the G20 grouping, Erdogan said he believed the grain deal, set to expire on Saturday, would remain in place and he hopes it will be extended by up to a year.
"I am of the opinion that it will continue. There's no problem there," he told the news conference.
He also said he wants to convene Russia and Ukraine at the same table, saying there will be no losers from peace between Ukraine and Russia.
