Top business leaders from the Asia-Pacific region are meeting at the APEC CEO Summit in Bangkok ahead of the APEC Economic Leaders' meeting. This will be the first time in four years that the APEC leaders are meeting face to face. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a great impact on the world economy and there are also other crises emerging in many parts of the globe. Victor Gao, chair professor of Soochow University, says the APEC is a recipe of peace and cooperation for all its members.
