Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Thursday said the grain deal allowing Ukraine to export grain via the Black Sea, which was due to expire on November 19, will be extended by 120 days.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Thursday he welcomed the agreement.

"I welcome the agreement by all parties to continue the Black Sea grain initiative to facilitate the safe navigation of export of grain, foodstuffs and fertilizers from Ukraine," Guterres said in a statement.
