Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the two discussed a grain export deal and natural gas cooperation, both presidencies said.

According to the Turkish side, Erdogan thanked Putin for his constructive stance on the extension of an agreement on grain exports from Ukraine.

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to extend the UN-brokered grain export deal for another 120 days, officials from both countries announced on Thursday.
