The renovation project of the Beijing Workers Stadium has entered the final stage and is expected to be completed in December, according to China Media Group (CMG).
CMG reporters on Friday saw at the construction site that the stadium was going through a trial run of its sunshade illumination. This effect is made up of a variety of different lighting methods.
All these functions are run by a smart centralized control system and able to generate bright colors as well as graceful dynamic changes based on various needs.
Moreover, the overall building façade of the stadium, which is made of raw concrete, was revealed to the public this week. The use of raw concrete is one of the biggest features of the renovation project. As the biggest individual building made of this material, the stadium is both environment-friendly and a great reproduction of its traditional exterior.
