Maiden Flight of C919 2017

In May 2017, the Comac 919 aircraft completed its successful maiden flight from Shanghai Pudong International Airport. C919, developed by Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC), is China's first home-grown truck jetliner in accordance with international airworthiness standards. In September 2022, it obtained the Type Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) after completing all airworthiness certification.
