Several Syrian soldiers were killed on Sunday by Turkish airstrikes in northern Syria, state news agency SANA reported citing a military source.
The soldiers were killed by the strikes, which hit several military sites of the Syrian army and Kurdish militias in the countryside region of Hasakah and Aleppo provinces in northern Syria, said SANA, spelling no details about the death toll.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Turkish strikes killed six Syrian soldiers and nine fighters with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and wounded 30 others from both sides, while 18 Syrian soldiers have gone missing following the strike in both Hasakah and Aleppo.
