In the Yunqiu Mountain in Xiangning County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, is the the Ta'erpo Ancient Village, which is more than 1,500-years-old.
Since the development of the Yunqiu Mountain scenic spot, registered poor households in more than 80 villages from eight surrounding towns have been lifted out of poverty. Thousands of villagers and poverty-stricken families are employed, with an annual per capita income of over 30,000 yuan. Every year, the Yunqiu Mountain scenic spot celebrates the Zhonghe Festival, which was first celebrated in 789 AD. People pray for harmony in the universe at the beginning of each year. The moderation and harmony between humans and nature is also the unique culture of the Yunqiu Mountain scenic spot.
