The United States Geological Survey reports that a magnitude-7 earthquake has hit 16 kilometers southwest of Malango, Solomon Islands. A Magnitude-6 aftershock has also been reported.
Charley Piringi is based in Honiara, a city near the epicenter of the earthquake in Solomon Islands. He told CGTN about the latest situation.
