Over 1,000 years ago during the Song Dynasty, the greatest minds of China brought Ci, a special form of musical poetry, to the pinnacle of its development. This music video offers a unique opportunity to hear the restored melody of one of Xin Qiji's classic poems Po Zhen Zi: Words of Encouragement sent to Chen Tongfu to the accompaniment of some of China's most beguiling traditional musical instruments.
