Russia and Ukraine on Thursday confirmed a new prisoner swap has been carried out, with 50 servicemen from each side returned to their countries.
The head of the Ukrainian President's Office Andriy Yermak said in a Telegram post that "50 Ukrainian soldiers were returned from captivity."
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that "the Russian soldiers would be delivered by plane to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation."
