Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese president, held talks Friday with Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Cuban president.

The Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng said that China-Cuba relations are the epitome of China's relations with Latin America and the Caribbean and he believes that the future of China-Cuba relations and China-Latin America relations will be even better.
