Kyrgyzstan's parliament building was evacuated on Friday after a fire broke out in its basement, Russia's RIA news agency reported.
"According to preliminary data, a fire broke out in the basement. Smoke began to rise along the floors, so the employees were evacuated," a spokesperson for the Parliamentary Assembly said.
The Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations said there were no casualties, according to RIA.
