Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan scheduled for December 7 in Brussels would not take place, the Interfax news agency reported on Friday.
Aliyev said Pashinyan had said he would only take part if France's President Emmanuel Macron also attended the meeting, Interfax reported.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday that "Azerbaijan had ignored an Armenian proposal for a peace deal," according to TASS news agency.
