Over the past decade, Hefei, an inland city, has become one of the fastest growing cities in China. It took only 13 years for Hefei to grow its GDP from $14 billion to nearly $140 billion, and it is now a super center for display production, IC chip manufacturing and NEV making. Many believe Hefei's success comes from pure luck, but in fact, it all came down to how the city invested and planned its future.
