Fifteen people have been killed and eleven injured in recent armed attacks in northern Nigeria, a local official reported on Friday.
The deadly attacks were launched by unidentified gunmen in four villages in the state of Kaduna, according to the state's commissioner for internal security and home affairs.
Armed attacks resulting in deaths and kidnappings are a primary security threat in certain parts of Nigeria.
