Two Asian teams, Iran and Qatar stepped onto different paths after Friday's group games in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Iran improved their chances of qualifying for the knockout stage thanks to the two goals during stoppage time that enabled them to beat Wales.

Qatar finally scored their first goal at the World Cup, but that didn't keep them from losing to Senegal. After the Netherlands and Ecuador held each other at 1-1, the host had to accept an early exit from the tournament.

England had their 12th scoreless draw in the World Cup, the most in history. Believe it or not, the "Three Lions" haven't won any of their three games against the USA at the World Cup.
