A ceremony was held on Friday to welcome the arrival of the world's first large dynamic positioning shallow-water special exploration vessel, "BGP (Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting Inc.) Innovator", at the Abu Dhabi port. According to industry insiders, the most important feature of the BGP Innovator is its shallow draft, as its design fills the gap of oil exploration equipment in shallow waters.
