Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's working visit to Minsk, scheduled for November 27-28, has been postponed due to the death of Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday that Makei had died suddenly at 64. Spokesperson Anatoly Glaz announced without providing further details.
