As the weather turns cold, the port city of Dalian in northeast China has entered the peak season for harvesting and selling sea cucumbers, which are considered to have high nutritional value. This year, the output value of sea cucumbers in Dalian is expected to be around $2.7 billion. Dalian is located at 39 degrees north latitude, which is one of the most suitable areas for marine life.
