The bilateral meeting on the new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) between Russia and the United States, which was supposed to be held from November 29 to December 6 in Cairo, has been postponed, Russia's Kommersant newspaper reported on Monday, citing the U.S. Embassy in Russia.
The embassy said that "Russia unilaterally postponed the meeting and said it would propose new dates."
The Russian Foreign Ministry later confirmed that the meeting was postponed to a later date, but provided no additional details.
