Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu held a phone conversation on Tuesday night to exchange views on the intensifying military tensions along the Türkiye-Syria border, Iran's official news agency IRNA has reported.
"Achieving that objective requires continuous security dialogue between the two countries, while military operations not only cannot resolve any of the problems, but also create losses and further complicate the situation," Amir-Abdollahian said.
The Turkish foreign minister appreciated Iran's constructive approach and said that such consultations must continue.
