Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the press service of Mirziyoyev said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Issues of further expansion of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia and strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership relations were discussed," the statement added.
