Affected by the cold wave, some sea ice appeared in the shoals of the Bohai Sea in northeast China on Wednesday. Data show that the date of the sea freeze was two weeks earlier than last year. The forecast department predicts that the distance from the outer edge of sea ice in Liaodong Bay will increase to 5-15 nautical miles. Authorities remind industries such as fishery, offshore oil and gas exploration, and port shipping to make safety preparations and limit losses.
