Lao president and general secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee Thongloun Sisoulith was in China on a state visit from November 29 to December 1, 2022. On December 1, he visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing and learned about the history of the CPC and its achievements. Thongloun Sisoulith said he was impressed by the changes that China has experienced under the leadership of the CPC. He also visited an exhibition showcasing joint projects between China and his country, including the China-Laos Railway. CGTN reporter You Yang sat down with the Lao leader to talk about his trip to China.
