China's economic planner has called on efforts to consolidate the foundation of the country's economy, according to a statement published on its website on Friday.
"Now is the critical time for consolidating the stable and upward foundation of the economy," said the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), "We must strive to maintain the sustained recovery of the economy."
The NDRC asked local authorities to "seize the time of the last month of this year" to continue to promote the "healthy and stable development of the real estate sector" while stabilizing employment.
