South Korea managed to qualify for the knockout stage in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, not only because they came back to defeat Portugal 2-1, but also because Uruguay failed to score their third goal against Ghana.
Brazil lost to Cameroon 1-0 and almost lost the leading position of Group G if Switzerland had beaten Serbia by more than one goal.
The matchups for the Round of 16 have been confirmed and the competitions will begin on Saturday night. Unlike playing in the group games, teams now don't have much to calculate, but to focus on winning.
However, that doesn't mean no traditional powerhouses will be upset from now on.
