The China-Laos Railway marks the first anniversary of its opening on December 3. In the past, there was only a three-kilometer freight railroad in Laos. The opening of the China-Laos Railway has shortened inter-city travel time and ushered Laos into the modern railway era. Meanwhile, the China-Laos Railway can directly export goods from Laos to China and Europe. Local agriculture, logistics and import and export trade have developed rapidly.
