The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Argentina have reached a staff-level agreement on the third review under Argentina's 30-month Extended Fund Facility arrangement, the fund said in a statement on Friday.

"The agreement is subject to approval by the IMF Executive Board, which is expected to meet this month. Upon completion of the review, Argentina will have access to about $6 billion," the IMF said.
