Russia and Germany stressed the need to eliminate all barriers to Russian supplies, if the Black Sea Grain Initiative is to be fully implemented. In a phone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Putin said the Western policies to supply weapons to Ukraine and train Ukrainian soldiers are "destructive". Scholz called on Russia to find a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine conflict as soon as possible.
