China's southern city of Guangzhou has taken major steps towards easing coronavirus related restrictions, amid the city's ongoing outbreak.
All companies are now allowed to re-open except those in high-risk areas, which are now limited to a particular building or unit. The re-opening of business is particularly good news for e-commerce companies, with several online shopping festivals scheduled in December.
Meanwhile, the city's municipal commerce bureau says its economy, especially the consumer market, was significantly affected by the epidemic in November. However, local authorities have come up with plans to help businesses.
