Death toll from landslide in Colombia rises to 23: report

At least 23 people were killed after a landslide in Colombia on Sunday, local news channel W Radio Colombia reported on Monday.

The landslide, caused by strong rains, hit between the villages of Pueblo Rico and Santa Cecilia in Risaralda province, about 230 kilometers from the capital Bogota.

Five people had been rescued alive and rescue workers were still searching the scene for others, the report added.
