As the temperature gets lower, rivers in northeast and north China take on different forms, with some frozen, while others are still flowing. Four major rivers in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province have entered a freeze-up period. However, in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, one of its local rivers is still running despite the temperature being below minus 40 degrees Celsius. With steams on from the water's surface, the riverside has formed a breathtaking scenery with beautiful rime.
